little coffee junkie
It's actually water.
Doesn't she look just like a little Oregonian right there?

For some reason today Eliza decided to only go down slide on her
tummy. Weird, but she's loving it.
Mommy gave Eliza a very small amount of candy after leaving the mall, but somehow she managed to go crazy with it in the back seat as we drove less than 10 blocks. While she looked crazy disgusting, she was having the best afternoon ever and was quite proud of herself.
Here's a shot taken by Grandpa during the cruise on Christmas. That's where E met her new best friend, Cookie Mouse. Grandma Cathy got her the series of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie..." books - which have become a big hit at evening story time.
Eliza got some new sheets and comforters for her toddler bed, so she loves crawling into the sack (but only for pretend sleep). Last night she told Daddy, "Want to sleep with all my babies" and she loaded up the bed with as many little pals as she could handle.
This was just moments after Eliza had a bunch of sushi.
Eliza stored up her energy all day, avoiding naps and any opportunity to rest. Normally this later creates a nightmare scenario for Mommy and Daddy later in the evening, but it worked to our advantage because E was able to ring in 2010 with us.
We opted for the East Coast new years (since it was a little earlier), but Eliza got her second wind after drinking sparkling cider from her little baby cordial glass and stayed up to ring in the new year in the Central time zone, as well.
Happy New Year!
